That sweet feeling called love

DaD 044

I’m posting later in the day than I like as time just seemed to run away from me today and it’s the first time I’m getting to sit at the computer.  Today I am featuring the latest creation by DaD Designs, which is the Sun Forest Cottage home.  It’s a lovely cottage centered on a vintage / shabby chic theme.  It basically has two large rooms, one separated by a wall with an opening giving it three rooms altogether. The porch has a glass roof top with leaves that can be changed by touch and you get nine colors to give you the season you want.

I have included some additional pictures at the bottom and details on the house from the creator to give you the view from the front of the house and the inside. It’s currently available at Shiny Shabby.

Enjoy the rest of your Monday!

  2. What a great vintage cottage! I’ve watched DaD, right from the first piece shown at the Cosmopolitan Event, and this designer is making the most beautiful creations, going from strength to strength.

  3. Oh, I love cottage living. Could I please call this one mine? Well, I’d want Tom and Bailey there also and it would be ever so lovely to have you drop by. Carmel, CA has many ‘real costal cottages’ and we were lucky to live in one the first 8 years of our marriage . . . it was our piece of heaven on earth. I would have been happy living there forever but my career had other plans for me.

  4. Smile. Absolutely, yours! Oh I never visited Carmel though heard of it and saw pictures of the lovely coastal side of the state. I lived in Fresno when I was a child and then got to visit several places in California as a child, but my fondest memory was visiting Santa Barbara to paint. Though I can take a cottage like this and plant it anywhere and surround myself with lush plants too.
