Mimosa

It’s been a while since I’ve written much.  My weekdays are always so busy and by the time I get home and doing what needs to get done, and having dinner there is not much time left.  Posting sometimes is going to be just dropping the credits.   Glad it’s the weekend.

I’m showing quite a bit today.  West Village has a new set called the Sagebrush, which includes the armchair, divider, butterfly frames and schefflera plant.  When I first set it out what instantly caught my attention is the exceptional quality and realness to the set.  Makes me excited to see the changes coming with textures.  Armchair has 7 fabric choices.  This maroon color called out to me.   The same thought about how real the product looks expands to the mimosa board by Fancy Fall.  Nice decor piece that dispenses a mimosa drink.  In case you may not know.  Fancy Fall is a collaboration between two of the most known creators on the grid — Apple Fall and Fancy Decor.   I can’t wait to see  what else they jointly create.

Daisy coffee table by Floorplan is available in several metal colors and definitely makes a nice addition to any room.  The daisy design certainly gives the room personality.   It can be found at this round of FaMESHed, where you can also find one of the newest releases by Rezz Room.  The chihuahua Easter animesh pet.  He is cute all dressed up in this outfit.  It’s a male because it’s stuck in my head that all dogs are male.  No insult intended.

Broken Arrows had the release of flying keys in the glass container. It adds a nice whimsical touch to the room.  The living leaf on the table is also part of the set.  Lastly, the build that I used for this scene is the rooftop apartment by Imegica.  It’s really a lovely living space with changeable scenes done by menu.  It has a built-in kitchen, which I hope to feature soon.  Also has an interactive swimming pool with single poses and cuddles. I love the folded wooden doors.  Plus it has very little impact if you need that option.

Live lavishly

The name of 8f8’s set, “Lavish Den” that I am showing is so fitting.  It’s definitely that and more.  I love all the choices of fabric used in the sofa and it was hard to pick one.  After much back and forth I finally settled on this mixture of browns, reds and greens.   It’s a beautiful set and a must see if you didn’t catch it when it was released a couple months ago.

The other item that I am showcasing is the new pet bed and accessories by DaD-virtual living- that is a new addition to the Les Memoires Collection.  Cushion and wood are texture change which helps keep it fresh and new as you change your home decor.  Weekly? Monthly? Yearly? I’m seasonal. Barely.

Carrot cake anyone?

One of my favorite desserts whenever I visited the Cheesecake factory was the carrot cake as it had one of the best cream cheese icings.  That along with the nuts mixed in was extremely tasting.  Apple Fall just came out with this tasty dessert for us all to enjoy.  It’s a beautiful centerpiece for any table.

Something bright and cheerful with my scene today.  I am loving these new beds by Bricolage. They have so much character and bring a bit of luxury.  The Post Totty beds were released at the Second Life Shop & Hop Birthday Event and there until the 11th of July.   There are three colors for the bed with matching chairs available.  You can’t go wrong with either.

Fancy AF

Hello everyone!  Hope life is treating everyone well.  As I said in one of my last posts I would return occasionally to do a photo and so here I am today, doing just that.  Hope you all like it.

After years blogging for both of these brands, I never expected to see them come together like this.  Exciting to see the collaboration between Apple Fall and Fancy Decor.  It’s like a perfect match and the name Fancy Fall is catchy.  Admit it. You like it.  It’s Fancy af, just like the neon sign says.  Most of what I am showing is from their joint work.

I’m still stuck on the color of green, so I tinted the walls of this skybox, which is all white with green in the front room and a blue in the back room.   There are several recently released sets in this picture and so you will find my credits broken down by the named sets and whatever I used from those sets.  Not all items were used, so don’t take it as such.

It was really nice to do a picture and post on my blog.  Not sure how often I will make a picture. I have not given it any thought beyond decorating this room, which was fun. I just may decorate something else soon.  I’ve been giving some thought to redoing my land, which up until yesterday was still in snow and decorated in Christmas things.  It’s timeless.  I like the idea of Christmas year round.   It’s peaceful and I am enjoying my solitude and when the mood strikes I work on my inventory. It’s like shopping at a vintage store.
