Place to rest

Showing lots of newness today, starting with the winter library shelf by Thor.  Comes in three colors of dark, ecru and wood and the back panel has nine choices to select from.  As a bonus you get the shelf in the back with the same colors.  I made mine a little smaller to be proportioned to the picture above.  The photo ledge is by Tuesdays and it’s at the current round of FaMESHed.  I used the VIP version, though the pack available allows you to use your own photos and come in two frame for a single pack or four frames for the fatpack.  The cowbells near the fireplace and vintage lantern on the back shelf I have shown previously, but at FaMESHed as well.

The fireplace is from Kopfkino and its currently at Access Event that opens today.  It’s a one piece, but it’s very customizable by HUD, which allows you to change the texture of just about everything.  I kept the original as I liked it well enough, but check it out because it really has a lot of options.  Spruce had runners at Happy Weekend sales about a week ago, so always great for the floor space and keeping our virtual feet warm.  That cute chimpanzee is from Rezz Room and at UBER.  He’s in spirit of Christmas, and as always you get static animations.  How can you resist all that adorable cuteness?  Lastly, I am also showing two pieces of art in this current round of Curated Event.  The mountain scene just above the library shelf and then smaller art framed inside the shelf.

The makings of a sunset indoors

The other day while I was doing dishes, I looked up and caught the image of leaves falling from the big tree that sits out in our front yard.  The leaves had now turned color, the yellow-orange that marks the beginning of the fall season.  It made me smile and happiness filled my spirit as I stood there a few seconds observing the leaves blowing in the air as there was a slight wind too.  I’m super excited for the change in the weather, as I love a nice wind and the feel of brisk cool air.

Today I am bringing a palette of fall colors.  I’m showcasing Bricolage, a home decor store that carries a bit of different styles, such as contemporary, eclectic, Victorian and vintage among several others.  The Amelia console with all the decor on top except the basket of fruit is available this weekend at a discount for the SL Home Weekend Sale.  The console is sold separately to the decor items, but what a great bargain and perfect for decorating this fall.

The espresso lounger is from Kopfkino, a previous release that comes in a few colors, and this color is also great for now and all year long.  Rezz Room continues to give us some cute pets.  The adult and puppy corgis are a new release at FaMESHed, and both are wearable and rezzable (wander/follow/idle).  Options for changing the fur, plenty of static animations, name change and off/on sounds.   The last item being showcased is the cozy craft pieces of decor on the floor near the console, by Yugen, at Anthem.  The cutest pieces to give a home that warm and cozy lived in feel.

Music is life

It’s still morning, but not as early as I would have hoped to have posted.  I am showcasing a new and the last gacha set to be created by Atelier Burgundy in collaboration with Pitaya.  The Vinyl Heaven set is a vibrant and wonderful pieces for those who love music and great for clubs and home as well.  The food on the table is from [Cinoe], and you can never have enough of pixel food.  You can eat until you’re full and never gain an inch.

The chihuahua is a previous release from [Rezz Room], and he seemed fitting for this room.  For a little one, he makes enough noise that you could say he’s musical too.  That half cup called biscuit pocket, near the front of my photo is by ChicChica, and there is a hold version as well.  Then the other two items featured are the vases from Mysa and a few decor items from [KH], books under table, plant and basket on desk in front.
